About the event

Struggling to get started with AR development? You've always wanted to build an immersive app but don't know where to start?

Join us for a free live AR workshop and see the AR project process from start to finish.

You can expect to build projects a like these in the XR Development with Unity course and fill your portfolio with immersive applications.

This is a beginner friendly workshop and you don't need any technical knowledge or a AR headset.

We'll go over some AR fundamentals in this workshop so that you're equipped to tackle more AR related projects. You'll learn how to use marker-based tracking, how to develop an AR scene in Unity, and what are the best practices for building your first AR applications.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Key highlights

  • How to start an AR development project in Unity

  • How to use marker-less tracking functionality

  • How to write simple scripts in C# (programming language in Unity)

  • What are the best practices when it comes to AR development for beginners

After the workshop, there will be a 30-min live Q&A session where we'll answer any questions you may have about development, design, and career opportunities in the XR world.
